Traveling in an area where GPS is unreliable, Violet is compelled to leave her car and go in search of someone to give her directions. After walking along a rough country track, she comes to a house where the front door is standing open. She walks in, calling out to alert anyone there to her presence. When she gets no answer, she goes inside and starts looking around. Suddenly, she is confronted by the occupant who confronts her, demanding to know why she is in his home. He does not buy Violet's excuse that she is lost and in need of help, declaring that he is an author working on a manuscript that he expects will be a bestseller, and he believes she is there to steal it. Violet denies this, but he is not willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. Instead, to make sure she has not stolen anything, he orders her to strip so that he can check her body and her clothes. Violet protests, but complying with his wishes may be the only way to leave without trouble.
